OTTC's Eric Marshall wins Silver medal at the World Police & Fire Games

Held biennially - this year from June 27th to July 6th - the World Police and Fire Games is an Olympic-style competition with more than 8,500 athletes representing law enforcement, firefighters, and police officers from more than 50 countries across the world. These athletes compete in more than 60 unique sports.

This years' table tennis event was held at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Illinois.
Founded and hosted several times in the United States, past host countries include, Australia, Canada, China, Northern Ireland, Spain, and Sweden.

OTTC's long-standing member Eric Marshall - a retired firefighter, arrived in Birmingham on July 27th to compete, where he took second place Silver as he also did in 2023, in the over 50 category, narrowly missing the Gold once again. Congratulations and keep persevering Eric!
