Youth Table Tennis Training

Ages 12 - 15 Years Old

So, you REALLY like table tennis, eh?  This sport could be more intense than you believe.  As an extremely fast-paced sport, table tennis athletes are especially dedicated to training to develop the body and mind for high-level competition.  Top players exhibit strong athleticism, intelligent application of tactical knowledge, as well as, phenomenal hand-eye coordination and exciting lightning-quick reflexes!

The Youth Training Program offers practices during the weekend mornings and also 

twice per week in the evening.  The offer provides,

  • opportunities for consistent improvement through structured exercises

  • gaining match experience

  • physical training

  • encouragement to compete in local tournaments

Participation Requirements

  • Participants are strongly encouraged to practice 2-3X per week

  • Beginner Level: Ability to bounce the ball on the racket without missing

  • Intermediate Level: Ability in Basic Strokes

  • Advanced Level: Ability in Advanced Strokes with Spin

  • Invitation to join the program is at the discretion of the youth Coach and the OTTC

​Equipment including rackets and appropriate shoes for table tennis may be purchased

from the OTTC Shop.

Youth - Intermdiate (2 hours)

  • Monday 5:30 PM

  • Thursday 5:30 PM

Each session is $20.00 plus hst

max 6 students to 1 coach

Youth - Beginner (75 minutes)
  • Saturday 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM

  • Monday 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM

Each session is $20.00 plus hst

max 4 students to 1 coach
